This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) applies to the information that we collect through ReturnCenter websites, including, but not limited to https://www.returncenter.com and https://community.returncenter.com, products, services, online stores, platforms and applications (collectively, “ReturnCenter Services”).  “You” or “your” refers to the individual accepting this policy, and if you are using the ReturnCenter Services on behalf of a business or legal entity, “you” or “your” refers to you and the business or legal entity.

This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and other processing of personal information in connection with the ReturnCenter Services and the choices you have associated with that personal information. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the extent we process personal information in the role of a processor or service provider on behalf of our customers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time so please review this Privacy Policy regularly; the ‘Last Updated’ date below will reflect when any updates were made.

Before using the ReturnCenter Services, please carefully read our Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy. By using the ReturnCenter Services, you acknowledge the collection, use, disclosure, and other processing of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and agree to our Terms of Use. If you do not feel comfortable with any part of this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Use, you should not use or access the ReturnCenter Services.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect personal information about you or your devices when you provide it to us, when you use the ReturnCenter Services, and when other sources provide it to us, as described below.

Personal information you provide to us

Information you provide through our ReturnCenter Services: This includes information provided in connection with using the ReturnCenter Services and any information about other parties involved in the ReturnCenter Services that you may provide to us. Examples of information we collect and store include your name, email address and contact details and addresses of the receiving and sending parties of your shipments. We also collect additional data about shipments, which may include comments you enter in connection with a shipment, and any feedback you provide to us. Content also includes any files and links you upload to the ReturnCenter Services.

Account and profile information: We collect information about you when you register for an account, create or modify your profile, set preferences, sign-up for or purchase any ReturnCenter Service. For example, you provide your contact information and, in some cases, billing information when you purchase a ReturnCenter Service.

Information you provide when you communicate with us: If you contact us directly, we may receive information about you, such as your name, email address, the contents of a message or attachments that you may send to us, and other data you choose to provide.  When you communicate with us online, our third-party vendors may receive and store these communications on our behalf.

Information you provide through our websites: We collect other information that you submit to our websites. For example, you provide information to us when you provide feedback, when you request a demo, or when you participate in any interactive features, surveys, contests, promotions, activities or events.

Information you provide through our support channels: The ReturnCenter Services also include our customer support, where you may choose to submit information regarding a problem you are experiencing with the ReturnCenter Services.  Whether you designate yourself as a technical contact, open a support ticket, speak to one of our representatives directly or otherwise engage with our support team, you will be asked to provide contact information, a summary of the problem you are experiencing, and any other documentation, screenshots or information that would be helpful in resolving the issue.

Payment information:  We collect certain payment and billing information when you register for certain ReturnCenter Services, such as the name and contact information for the party responsible for invoices.  You might also provide payment information, such as credit or debit card information, which is collected by our third-party payment processor.  We do not directly access, handle, or store your credit or debit card information.

Careers: If you decide that you wish to apply for a job with us, you may submit your contact information and your resume online.  We will collect the information you choose to provide on your resume, such as your education and employment experience.

Personal information we collect automatically when you use the ReturnCenter Services

Usage data: We keep track of certain information about you when you visit and interact with any ReturnCenter Services. This information includes the features you use; the links you click on; the type, size and filenames of attachments you upload; and frequently used search terms.

Device and connection information: We collect information about your computer, phone, tablet, or other devices you use to access the ReturnCenter Services. This device information includes your connection type and settings when you install, access, update, or use the ReturnCenter Services. We also collect information through your device about your operating system, browser type, IP address, URLs of referring/exit pages, device identifiers, and crash data. We use this information to provide you with a better service experience.  How much of this information we collect depends on the type and settings of the device you use to access the ReturnCenter Services.

Third-Party Business Partners:  In connection with the provision of the ReturnCenter Services, we may disclose your information to service providers, contractors and third parties who help us provide the ReturnCenter Services, for shipping and logistics, and payment processing.  We may also disclose your information to third parties in connection with analytics, marketing and advertising including retargeting ads, email, text and other communications, and website, software, platform, cloud, data storage and other technical services.

Third Party Analytics. We may use automated devices and applications, such as Google Analytics, to evaluate usage of the ReturnCenter Services. Aggregate and De-Identified Information. We may disclose aggregate, anonymized, or de-identified information about users with third parties for marketing, advertising, research, or other purposes as permitted by applicable law.‍

MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

By providing your phone number and/or email address, you consent to receive recurring automated and/or manual marketing, promotional, and informational messages from ReturnCenter, including but not limited to text messages (SMS/MMS) and emails. Message frequency may vary; consent is not required as a condition of purchase; and standard message and data rates may apply for SMS/MMS.  You may opt out of receiving (i) text messages by replying STOP to any text message to unsubscribe; and (ii) emails by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.  After opting out, you may receive a final confirmation message. No further marketing messages will be sent unless you re-enroll.  However, transactional or service-related messages may still be sent even after opting out of marketing communications.

YOUR CHOICES

You may update, correct, or remove an account profile or any of its information, subject to certain limitations, at any time by logging into your user account. INFORMATION RETENTION

We will keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the business purpose for which it was collected, or as otherwise required by applicable law.

To secure your information, we have put in place commercially suitable physical, technical, and administrative procedures designed to safeguard and secure the information we collect. However, because no electronic transmission or storage of data can be entirely secure, we can make no guarantees as to the security or privacy of your data.

LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

The ReturnCenter Services may contain links to other websites that are not operated by ReturnCenter. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third-party’s website. We strongly advise you to review that website’s privacy policy.  We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party websites or services.

NOTICE TO USERS LOCATED OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES

If you are using the ReturnCenter Services, or any part thereof, from outside of the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored or processed in the United States, where our servers are located and our central database is operated, and the data protection and other laws of the United States might not be as comprehensive as those in your country. We may also transfer your data from the United States to other countries or regions in connection with storage and processing of data, fulfilling your requests, and operating our ReturnCenter Services. By using any portion of the ReturnCenter Services, you understand and consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your information to our facilities in the United States and those third parties with whom we disclose it to as described in this Privacy Policy.

CHILDREN

The ReturnCenter Services are offered and available to users who are 18 years of age or older. By using the ReturnCenter Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and of legal age to form a binding contract with us. If you do not meet all of these requirements, you must not access or use the ReturnCenter Services.
